We are a Ugandan team building a travel company we would want to book with ourselves. If you care about Uganda, hospitality and creating journeys people remember, we would like to hear from you.
Including the parts that are hard. You should know before you apply, not after.
There is no layer between you and the traveller. A driver-guide here is the company for seven days, and that is both the best and the most demanding part of the job.
If a lodge is not good enough we do not send people there. If a drive takes seven hours we say seven, not five. That standard applies internally too.
Safari work is not nine to five. Peak season means early starts and consecutive trips. We would rather you knew that before applying than discovered it in month two.
Rates are agreed before a trip, not after. Allowances are separate from your rate. Payment is not something you should have to chase.
What we look for, whatever the role.
Nothing open at the moment.
We hire when there is real work for someone, not to fill a page. If you are a driver-guide or a travel designer and you think you would fit, tell us below and we will keep it on file.
Send us your CVWe're always interested in meeting talented guides, drivers, photographers, birders and travel designers, whether or not we have a vacancy posted right now.
Send us your CVFor students and recent graduates interested in tourism, hospitality, business, marketing, digital media, conservation or travel operations.
Explore Internship OpportunitiesWe read every application, and we reply to every one, including the ones we turn down. If you have not heard from us within two weeks, write again, because something has gone wrong on our end.
We do not ask candidates to pay for anything: no application fee, no training fee, no uniform deposit. Anyone claiming to recruit for us and asking for money is not us.
If you are not sure whether you are qualified, apply anyway and say what you are unsure about. We would rather read that than have someone talented rule themselves out.
Whether you're an experienced safari guide, a future travel designer or simply passionate about Uganda and travel, we'd love to meet you.
